Ideally located on the borders of South Warwickshire, West Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire, giving you great access to the pretty towns of Chipping Camden and Moreron-in-Marsh only being 8-9 miles away from Autumn Cottage. Visit Blenheim Palace, in Woodstock, only 30 minutes drive away. Stratford upon Avon is an easy 15 minutes drive, if you wish to visit the theatre and Shakespeare\’s home town, also the beautiful Warwick Castle with its amazing attractions is a great day out – 20 minutes away. Want to stay closer to home, then Shipston on Stour our closest town, 5 minutes to drive (for our fitter guests – 45 minutes walk), offers a welcoming experience. With wine cellars to visit, antique shops to browse and great hostelries to partake of food & beverage, what more could you want.

The village is the centre of many country walks, notably the Canal towpath to Stratford, one and a half hours walk-return by train takes five minutes. In addition to the train (which also serves Warwick. Leamington Birmingham) there is a tourist bus service to Stratford attractions.

Royal Leamington Spa takes all the best from London and offers it within a 10 minute walk around the Royal Spa town with over 400 shops to choose from. Visiting Leamington you will notice the wide tree lined streets, superb Edwardian architecture, relaxing rivers, canals and award winning parks. Sample the delights of a great place to shop and eat with a first class selection of independent boutiques and restaurants coupled with all the major shops you will find on any major high street.Leamington is also a great place to access the delights of Warwick castle hosting concerts all year round and many of the local food and music festivals that make this town a must on any travellers list.There is always something to do or places to visit!
